Rocket Lab Unveils Electron

Rocket Lab officially unveiled its new launch vehicle, Electron, on July 29, 2014. The celebrations extended well into the night as staff, dignitaries and key suppliers celebrated Rocket Lab’s achievements so far and Electron’s potential to change the space industry. Electron, a world-first carbon-composite rocket, is set to transform the small-satellite market by providing dedicated high-frequency launches at a fraction of the current cost.
